I’m fascinated by how club environments bring people together from different socio-economic classes to celebrate life and enjoy dancing to the same joyful, triumphant, uplifting songs. I often wish the energy of a club could be brought into my studio and exhibitions, and I try to do that through my art installations. I also take pleasure in seeing how glitter or the accumulation of inexpensive trinkets transforms objects into seemingly more valuable objects.
