The creation of my artworks is filtered through my experience as a queer short man (standing at just 5-foot-2) and growing up in a military family where my masculinity was regularly challenged. My work confronts the idea that creativity and tenderness are incompatible with what it means to be a man. To celebrate these ideas of vulnerability, courage and liberation, I create colorful and glitter-dipped multi-disciplinary artworks that beg to be hung under a disco ball.
