The creation of my artworks is filtered through my experience as a queer short man (standing at just 5-foot-2) and having my masculinity regularly challenged. My work confronts the idea that creativity and tenderness are incompatible with what it means to be masculine. To celebrate these ideas of vulnerability, courage and liberation, I create shiny, colorful and glitter-dipped multi-disciplinary artworks that beg to be hung under a disco ball.
